FARM AND FOREST HOMES
Ages 4-6, full day session

Make your home at Oxbow for the week and discover the plants, wild animals, and maybe even magical creatures that live here too! Crawling through the underbrush, climbing over logs, and squishing through the mud, you’ll uncover special habitats in the farm fields and the Oxbow forest, then challenge yourself to build inviting homes for your favorite creatures. Discover how the Oxbow forest and farm fields are linked as you learn about native plants one day and harvest food from the farm fields the next. And it doesn’t stop there: you'll learn to take care of our human habitat, too, coming together to harvest a bounty of fresh veggies that will be donated to local hunger relief efforts. Bring your creativity, imagination, and sense of adventure!

Throughout the week, campers will experience:

·         Storytelling, songs, and teambuilding

·         Creative play and hands-on activities

·         Nature connection games

·         Fairy, gnome, and animal home building

·         Harvesting and eating fresh farm foods

·         Hay ride tour of 30-acre organic production farm

Camp cost: $300
