Join the adventure as we explore the farm AND the wild spaces around it, discovering the diverse plants, animals, and humans who call the Snoqualmie Valley home! Design and build habitats for your favorite creatures (real or imaginary), participate in real farm projects, harvest and taste plenty of farm fresh foods, and share the bounties of summer with neighbors in need. Play games and share stories as we experience how the human and natural histories of the valley are intertwined, and learn what we can do to continue growing a healthy community for all.
Take home a taste of the farm! Our Camp Farm Stand will be open at the end of every camp day so you can shop for your new-found favorite organic veggies and support Oxbow’s mission. The week ends with a fun, bountiful, free family farmer’s market led by all our campers!
Throughout the week, campers will experience:
- Fairy, gnome, and animal home building
- Native plant foraging
- Storytelling, songs, and team building
- Creative play and hands-on activities
- Nature connection games
- Harvesting and eating fresh farm foods
- Hay ride tour of Oxbow’s organic production farm
- Farm fun in the great outdoors, all day long, rain and shine!
Sessions include: Oxbow summer camp t-shirt, nature journal, and crafts
